This beautiful and unique bag is made from hand-picked vintage materials. The main body of the bag is made from a vintage 1940's barkcloth and vintage herringbone wool. The pockets were made from a very interesting and unique crewel (wool) embroidery piece. I believe the original use for the piece was a set of long, narrow curtains perhaps for the windows along side a door. The bird and holly motif is full of wonderful texture and color. The lining of the bag is an olive linen/cotton blend. The bag closes with a magnetic snap, hidden beneath a beautiful vintage green button.
This bag measures 12" wide at the top opening and 14" tall. The strap is 48" long and can be knotted to shorten if desired. Bag is fully lined, and closes with a magnetic snap.
