This beautiful and unique bag is made from hand-picked vintage materials. The main body of the bag is made from an antique quilt. Fun fact, I'm usually pretty good at pegging the age of fabrics, and this one has me puzzled. Most of the fabrics read as 1930's to be but a few make me wonder if it was made in the 1960's. First a baby quilt, and now a bag! The sides are made from old stock denim, with vintage linen embroidered pockets. Not to be outdown, the lining of the bag has its own story! Made from a vintage feedsack from the 1930's. The bag closes with a magnetic snap, hidden beneath the most gorgeous handcarved antique mother of pearl button.
This bag measures 12" wide at the top opening and 14" tall. The strap is 48" long and can be knotted to shorten if desired. Bag is fully lined, and closes with a magnetic snap.
