This sweet wrap pinny is made from a pair of vintage 1930's feedsacks! The original stitch lines could still be seen prior to cutting this dress. During the Great Depression, as both a kindness and a marketing tactic, companies began to print beautiful designs on their cloth feedsacks. Fabric was a luxury many could not afford, and resourcefulness was key to making the most of very little. Having printed flour and grain sacks allowed for double use, and thankfully this pair has been lovingly kept all these years and are now repurposed!
