This cozy coat is made from one of the sweetest prints I've come across! This hard to find print dates around the 1950's and was used for nursery curtains and decor. It is a softly textured cotton barkcloth. The coat is lined with a vintage lavender calico and interlined with a natural cotton batting for extra warmth and cozyness. The collar of this coat is made from a Quaker lace tablecloth and hand stitched with darling appliqued roses. I am not certain of the age of the appliques, but they were sourced along with trims from the late 1800's so they may be over a hundred years old. Whatever their age, they are in perfect shape and oh so pretty! Coat closes with vintage mother of pearl buttons.
