This beautiful and one of a kind bag is made from hand-picked vintage materials. The main body of the bag is made from a vintage baby quilt. This quilt is a bit of a mystery to me as most of the fabrics look to be Depression era, but there are a few that look closer to 1960's so it's possible this was a work in progress over the decades. The sides of the bag are made from deadstock upholstery fabric and a sweet acorn embroidery piece. The bag closes with a magnetic snap, hidden beneath a bright and fun 1950's yellow button on the sweetest turquoise lucky horseshoe fabric salvaged from a 1930's feedsack.
This bag measures 12" wide at the top opening and 14" tall. The strap is 48" long and can be knotted to shorten if desired. Bag is fully lined, and closes with a magnetic snap.
