This quilt coat is so fun and colorful, made from a 1940's quilt top with a plethora of bright colors. I have finished the quilt top by quilting each part of the garment together with natural cotton batting and a 1970's calico backing. The coat is finished with a sweet charm print bias trim, and has a vintage button closure. Based on the card and the style I believe these buttons are likely dated to the 1920's.
Sizing: Womens 14 Large Bust
Upper Bust: 45"
Full Bust: 47"
Shoulder to Hem: 28"
This coat has bust darts to accommodate approximately a 6-8 inch bust difference. This means that if you subtract your full bust measurement from your upper bust measurement (just under armpits) the difference would be 6-8". That translates to an E-H cup. If you normally have trouble buttoning a garment over your bust, or with tightness/buttons pulling, this is designed to avoid those problems and create a better fit for a full bust.
