Here's your chance to get the bonnet of your dreams! This listing is for a custom bonnet made with your fabric or embroidery. You may choose to send a sentimental textile like a button down shirt or cotton dress, or you can send in a favorite vintage floral or some gorgeous embroidery you've been saving for just the right thing! Custom bonnets are available in all sizes including newborn, 0-6 Months, 6-12 Months, 12-18 Months, 18-24 Months, 2T, and 3T/4T. Custom bonnets can also be lined with satin (no extra charge). Bonnets will be available with two options:
1. Completely Custom: this option allows you to design your entire bonnet. Once you send in your fabric, I will send photos of three flip options for you to choose from. If you would like to give input on trim colors, you can do that too!
2. Maker's Choice: with this option, you send your fabric and I will choose a coordinating flip and trim for you! I will choose something from my vintage stash that will coordinate with what you sent. If you prefer a solid, you can request one and I will choose color. (You may also send in both bonnet and flip fabrics if you prefer and I will choose trim)
What fabrics work best? Woven fabrics such as linen and cotton are the best. Avoid stretchy fabrics (like tshirts and stretch knits) as they will not make a suitable bonnet. If you have any questions about what will work, please reach out prior to purchase and we can discuss your fabric. Once you purchase, I will reach out via email letting you know where to send the fabric. Once fabric is received I will be in contact regarding fabric choices if selected, and will make a beautiful bonnet just for you!
